Farming Joy at Food Recycle Land

Letting kindergarteners experience farming offers a fantastic learning opportunity! It’s more than just planting seeds; it fosters cognitive skills like, promotes physical activity and healthy eating, builds social-emotional skills like teamwork and responsibility and engages all their senses.

Due to the bad weather, the farming activity had to be carried out in two sessions. On the first day, we learned to plant small potted plants in school.

We then proceed to the visit the Food Recycle Land to learn more about food recycle and farming on a sunny day. From understanding where food comes from to learning patience and taking care of living things, the farming experience provides a rich and rewarding adventure for young children.
